It has been about two years since our last membership. Our company has been growing and we have not had time to allocate to organizations such as this . Although, over the last few years we have worked hard to bring on more resources. Having these resources in place, now gives us the chance to take full advantage of all the opportunities the Chamber has to offer.

I have been told the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce is very active.  They have launched a new website pumped full of information. They seem to have many events and social gatherings throughout the year. I am looking forward to attending the “business after hours”.  There are typically 200-400 members that attend and usually a catered event. I have gone to this event a few times and was very impressed with the turn out. We are a B2B and its a great opportunity to network with other businesses.

The Chamber also will host as event at our location called a “ribbon cutting”. We have recently moved to a new location, downtown Traverse City so this is perfect timing for a ribbon cutting. I was told its a good idea to have an open house the same day as the ribbon cutting. All the Chamber ambassadors, our employees, friends and family, and our clients will be at our ribbon cutting and open house. We will be releasing a press release soon announcing the details of the events. Be there or be square
